The Oregon Fish and Wildlife Commission will consider proposed regulations affecting Oregon's commercial Dungeness crab fishery at its August 14, 2026 Commission meeting.

The Oregon Coast Crab Association has remained actively engaged throughout this process. Since the February Commission meeting, the OCCA Board of Directors has worked closely with our legal counsel, industry advisor, ODFW staff, and members of the commercial fishing industry to review the issues under consideration and provide meaningful industry input.

OCCA remains committed to representing the interests of Oregon's commercial Dungeness crab fleet while supporting the long-term viability of the fishery and the coastal communities that depend upon it.
